Does your child have trouble making friends?
The Speech Therapy Centres of Canada has developed a special program for children 6-8 years old. Our social communication group is designed to help children learn the skills they need to socialize and make friends.
The 6 session groups will cover
- How to start and end a conversation
- Appropriate conversation topics
- Staying on topic and maintaining the conversation
- Saying sorry
- Making and keeping friends
- How to interpret social cues
